A Blog with a Plan

I’ve been trying to come up with a plan of attack for this blog adventure.  I found my first gray hair this weekend, and I really hope the two aren’t related.  (Don’t worry, though, it’s gone now.  I know I can’t do that with every one, but it seemed appropriate for the first one.)  Regardless, I think I have a starting place now…I’ll post my menu plan for the week and then choose one recipe to post in more detail.

This week, we’re planning on Pasta with Tuna and Capers, Pasta with Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Skillet Hoppin’ John, and Loaded Baked Potato Soup.

The first three are from Mark Bittman‘s Food Matters Cookbook (where I got the subtitle for the blog) and the last one is from the latest Penzy’s catalog.

    Speaking of first grey hair, mine came and went, I taped it onto a piece of BLACK paper and still have it, but where I’m not exactly sure. I’ll tell Jennifer to look for her’s in 4 years, sounds right.
